Pay Range: $50,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and complexity of the project.

Job Description: We are assembling a talented and dedicated animated film production crew for an exciting new project. If you have a passion for animation and a desire to bring stories to life through visual storytelling, we want to hear from you. Join us in creating unforgettable characters and immersive worlds that inspire and entertain audiences of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Mix and balance audio elements to achieve the desired sound quality and clarity.

• Collaborate with the sound designer, composer, and editor to integrate sound elements seamlessly.

• Ensure that dialogue, music, and sound effects are balanced and audible.

• Monitor levels and adjust settings as needed during recording and mixing sessions.

• Meet deadlines and deliver high quality sound mixes within the production schedule.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Audio Production, or a related field.

• Experience in sound mixing, audio editing, and post-production; proficiency in sound mixing software and digital audio workstations such as Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or similar programs.

• A solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, pace, and storytelling; the ability to mix sound elements such as dialogue, music and sound effects, and Foley to enhance the narrative and visual appeal of the animation.

• Creative and innovative, capable of creating immersive and dynamic soundscapes that bring the animation to life; the ability to evoke emotion and enhance storytelling.

• Attention to details to ensure that there’s balanced, cohesive, and sonically pleasing sound mixes.

• A combination of technical expertise, creativity, communication, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, time management, that enhance the storytelling and visual appeal of the animation.
