Pay Range: $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About Us: Raconteuse Animation Studios is a creative hub for animation enthusiasts, dedicated to producing captivating and innovative content for audiences worldwide. We’re seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team and support our growing workforce.

 

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to oversee all aspects of HR operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of HR functions and fostering a positive and productive studio environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine interest in supporting a creative team.

 

Responsibilities:​​

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring. Develop and implement effective onboarding programs.

  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and maintain a positive work culture.

  • Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Update and enforce HR policies and procedures.

  • Performance Management: Oversee performance evaluations and development plans. Support managers and employees in performance-related matters.

  • Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and assist with compensation planning and salary reviews.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.

  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports as needed.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.​

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, ideally in the creative or animation industry.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve issues effectively.

  • Proficiency in HR software and tools. Experience with Human Resources Information Systems HRIS is a plus.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Creative and adaptable mindset with a passion for supporting a creative team.
