Position: Clean-up Artist

 

Pay Range: $30,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and complexity of project.

Job Description: We are assembling a talented and dedicated animated film production crew for an exciting new project. If you have a passion for animation and a desire to bring stories to life through visual storytelling, we want to hear from you. Join us in creating unforgettable characters and immersive worlds that inspire and entertain audiences of all ages.

 

Responsibilities:

• Refine and polish rough animation drawings to create clean and consistent final artwork.

• Follow established style guidelines and character designs to maintain visual consistency.

• Collaborate with animators and supervisors to ensure that clean-up artwork meets quality standards.

• Iterate on clean-up drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and production requirements.

• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality clean-up artwork within the production schedule.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Visual Effects, or a related field.

• Proven experience adapting to various animation techniques and styles. The ability to adjust approach to match the requirements of each project and incorporate changes as needed.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, the ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of their work.

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous clean-up work that demonstrates a range of artistic ability.

• Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, techniques and platforms, or similar programs used for automation clean-up.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, the ability to take direction and feedback and incorporate it into their work.
