Position: Casting Director

Pay Range: $40,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description: We are assembling a talented and dedicated animated film production crew for an exciting new project. If you have a passion for animation and a desire to bring stories to life through visual storytelling, we want to hear from you. Join us in creating unforgettable characters and immersive worlds that inspire and entertain audiences of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct auditions and casting sessions to identify talent that fits the character’s and tone of the film.

• Collaborate with the director and producers to cast voice actors for the film.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with voice actors and their representatives.

• Provide guidance and direction to voice actors during recording sessions.

• Ensure that the voice performances align with the creative vision of the film.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre, Film, or a related field.

• Extensive knowledge of voice acting talent and the ability to match actors with appropriate role.

• Strong communication and negotiating skills, and experience working in the animation industry or casting for film and television productions.

• Keen attention to detail to ensure that voice actors are well-suited for their roles.

• A combination of industry experience, knowledge of voice talent, networking skills, communication abilities, creativity, and attention to detail to cast voice actors who bring animated characters to life effectively.

• Adheres to ethical standards in casting practices, including fairness, impartiality, and respect for actors’ rights and privacy,

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous casting work and successful collaborations with voice actors.
