Position: Animation Director

Pay Range: $80,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and scale of project.

Location: Onsite, Remote Work

Job Description: We are assembling a talented and dedicated animated film production crew for an exciting new project. If you have a passion for animation and a desire to bring stories to life through visual storytelling, we want to hear from you. Join us in creating unforgettable characters and immersive worlds that inspire and entertain audiences of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Set the overall artistic vision and direction for the animation in collaboration with the director and production team.

• Provide guidance and feedback to animators to ensure consistency and quality in character movement and performance.

• Oversee the animation pipeline and workflow to ensure efficient production and delivery.

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate animation seamlessly into the film.

• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for the animation department.

 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.

• Proven experience in animation production, previous experience as a director or in a leadership role is highly beneficial.

• Strong project management, leadership and organizational skills, with a clear understanding of storytelling and character development techniques.

• Creative thinking and attention to details to ensure that the animation is consistent with the project’s visual style, storytelling, and character designs.

• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work as an animation director or other relevant role.

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
